Owner Ty Simmons is a 5th-generation Florida native with the kind of southern hospitality and manners that you'd expect. He grew up on his family's fish farm in Ruskin, FL and followed his father, Steve, into the concrete trade — learning the craft from the ground up on job sites across South Shore Tampa Bay.

After more than two decades working alongside his father at Steve Simmons Concrete, Ty took over the business when his dad retired. He holds Florida Commercial Contractor's License CBC1269183, is fully insured, and has built a network of trusted subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers across Hillsborough and Manatee Counties.

Southern Legacy Co. serves Ruskin, Apollo Beach, Wimauma, Sun City Center, Riverview, Brandon, Parrish, Gibsonton, and the greater Tampa Bay area. Ty lives in Ruskin with his wife Laura and their four children — when he's not on a job site, he's coaching youth sports and staying rooted in the South Shore community he's called home his entire life.
